GIVING AND REAPING'
MY LIFE IS A STORY
My life is a story
Of sowing and reaping
Since I committed my life
To Jesus for keeping
He has taught me to sow
And plant my seeds deep
If I ever expect
A harvest to reap
A “cheerful giver”
I have become
As I climb Jacob’s ladder
Rung by rung
He has proven his Word
Over and over
As I am now walking
In fields of clover
As I look around
At His many blessings
“My cup runneth over”
There’s no point in stressing
God will provide
I’ve heard many say
As they barely get by
Day after day
They expect manna from heaven
Yet put nothing at risk
They eat their seed
Or hold it tight in their fist
God asked of Moses
“What’s that in your hand”
Have you buried your talents
Down deep in the sand?
Invest in His kingdom
Start casting your bread
And the Glory of God
Shall rest on your head
