Three
things in life...
Matthew 6:33-34 (KJV) 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of
God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added
unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the
morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient
unto the day is the evil thereof.
Three things in
life that, once gone, never come back
1. Time As if you could
kill time without injuring eternity.
2. Words I have never
been hurt by anything I didn't say - Calvin Coolidge. If you
don't say it - they can't repeat it.
3. Opportunity Today is the day
of Salvation…
Three things in life that can destroy a
person
1. Anger A lady
once came to Billy Sunday and tried to rationalize her angry
outbursts. "There's nothing wrong with losing my temper," she
said. "I blow up, and then it's all over." "So does a shotgun,"
Sunday replied, "and look at the damage it leaves behind!" -
Billy Sunday. Anger is never without a reason, but seldom with
a good one
2. Pride Pride is the only
disease that makes everyone sick but the one who has it. "Be
not proud of race, face, place, or grace." - C. H. Spurgeon.
3. Unforgiveness Mark 11:25
(KJV) "And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought
against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may
forgive you your trespasses."
Three things in life that you should never
lose
1. Hope There are no
hopeless situations; there are only people who have grown
hopeless about them.
2. Peace Peace that Jesus gives
is not the absence of trouble, but is rather the confidence that
He is there with you always. Safety consists not in the
absence of danger but in the presence of God. John 14:27 (KJV)
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the
world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid."
3. Honesty Some are honest only
because they have never had opportunity to be dishonest.
Three things in life that are most
valuable
1. Love - God is love.
2. Family & Friends An exhaustive
study shows that no woman has ever shot her husband while he was
doing the dishes.
3. Kindness Kindness makes a
person attractive.
What happened to Time?
When as a child I laughed and wept, time crept.
When as a youth I dreamed and talked, time walked.
When I became a full grown man, time ran.
And later as I older grew, time flew.
Soon I shall find while traveling on, time gone
God bless you and yours!
