SEEK, KNOCK AND ASK!

Mat 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock,
and it shall be opened unto you:
Mat 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth;
and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
I. Seek!
It means to look for, hunt for, and search
for. Did you ever loss anything important?
We should first seek the Lord! Jesus said “seek, and ye shall find;”
Mat 6:33 KJV - But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and
all these things shall be added unto you.
A. Jesus is the kingdom.
B. Revival comes with seeking God!
2 Chr 7:14 - If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves,
and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear
from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
2 Chr 7:15 - Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attend unto the prayer
that is made in this place.
C: David knew where to go, to the House of God! Psa 27:4 One thing have I
desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of
the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to
inquire in his temple.
Luke 19:10 - For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
Jesus is a SEEKER, He seeks you.
D. When you find Him with your whole heart then
Col 3:1 - If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above,
where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Col 3:2 - Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
II. Knock!
Rev 3:20 KJV - Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice,
and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
A. It is Jesus doing the knocking first. Look what happens if you hear
and open. “to him that knocketh it shall be opened”
III. Ask!
Mat 7:7 - Ask, and it shall be given you;
James 4:3 - Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume
it upon your lusts.
1 John 5:14 - And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask
any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 1 John 5:15 And if we know that
he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we
desired of him.
James 1:6 - But let him ask in faith,
Eph 3:20 - Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that
we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us
