Realities of the
Holy Spirit in our Christian Life!
In this outline we share 7 realities in our live as we live and grow
in the Lord. "May not a single moment of my life be spent outside
the light, love and joy of God's presence and not a moment without
the entire surrender of my self as a vessel for Him to fill full of
His Spirit and His love." Andrew Murray.
I. Our Spiritual Birth.
John 3:5-7 (KJV) 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter
into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I
said unto thee, Ye must be born again. A. This is when we really begin to live.
1. We pass from death to life. 2. From darkness to light. 3. From the Kingdom of devil to the Kingdom of God.
II. We become a Spiritual Man. Galatians 6:1 (KJV) Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye
which are spiritual, ...... Romans 8:14-16 (KJV) 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God,
they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of
bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption,
whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness
with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
III. We receive a Spiritual Mind. Romans 8:6 (KJV) For to be carnally minded is death; but to be
spiritually minded is life and peace. A. It is why a Christian has life and peace and joy.
IV. We can bear Spiritual Fruit. Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV) 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy,
peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness,
temperance: against such there is no law. A. This is why the world knows we are different and we walk in the
Spirit. Matthew 7:20 (KJV) Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
V. We offer Spiritual Sacrifices to the Lord. 1 Peter 2:5 (KJV) Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a
spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual
sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. A. Paul exhorted to be a living sacrifice.
Romans 12:1-2 (KJV) 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the
mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice,
holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And
be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the
renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God. B. Some say "I would die for the Lord", He want us to live for Him
more than to die for Him. He died for us that we might live.
VI. We receive Spiritual Blessings. Ephesians 1:3 (KJV) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly
places in Christ:
VII. Then we can have Spiritual Songs in our heart, mind and
mouth. Ephesians 5:19-20 (KJV) 19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and
hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart
to the Lord; 20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the
Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
D.L Moody said, "I believe firmly that the moment our hearts are
emptied of pride and selfishness and ambition and everything that is
contrary to God's law, the Holy Spirit will fill every corner of our
hearts. But if we are full of pride and conceit and ambition and the
world, there is no room for the Spirit of God. We must be emptied
before we can be filled."
Friends let us all live and walk in the spirit and we will fulfill
the plan and Will of God for our lives.
God bless you and yours!
