Psalm 23:1 KJV A Psalm of
David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Psalm 23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me
beside the still waters.
Psalm 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of
righteousness for his name's sake.
Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort
me.
Psalm 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine
enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Psalm 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my
life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
I. The Lord is my Shepherd -
That's Relationship!
1 John 3:1 KJV Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us,
that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not,
because it knew him not.
1 John 3:2 KJV Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear
what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him;
for we shall see him as he is.
II. I shall not want
- That's Supply!
Phil 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in
glory by Christ Jesus.
III. He maketh me to lie down in green
pastures
- That's Rest!
Mat 11:28 KJV Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I
will give you rest.
Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in
heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
IV. He leadeth me beside the
still waters
- That's Refreshment!
Psalm 1:3 KJV And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that
bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and
whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
John 7:38 KJV He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his
belly shall flow rivers of living water.
V. He restoreth my soul

That's Healing!
Mal 4:2 KJV But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness
arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of
the stall.
Acts 3:19 KJV Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be
blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the
Lord;
VI. He leadeth me in the paths of
righteousness
- That's Guidance!
Rom 8:14 KJV For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons
of God.
VII. For His name sake -
That's Purpose!
Psalm 91:14 KJV Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I
deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
Psalm 91:15 KJV He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him
in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
Psalm 91:16 KJV With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.
VIII. Yea, though I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death
- That's Testing!
1 Cor 10:13 KJV There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man:
but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are
able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be
able to bear it.
IX. I will fear no evil
- That's Protection!

X. For Thou art with me
- That's Faithfulness!
Heb 13:5 KJV Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content
with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor
forsake thee.
Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:
and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
XI. Thy rod and Thy staff they
comfort me
- That's Discipline!
Job 36:10 KJV He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that
they return from iniquity.
Job 36:11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity,
and their years in pleasures.
XII. Thou preparest a table before me in
the presence of mine enemies
- That's Hope!
Rom 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be
against us?
Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that
loved us.
XIII. Thou anointest my head with oil
- That's Consecration!
Isa 6:8 KJV Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send,
and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
XIV. My cup runneth over
- That's Abundance!
John 10:10 KJV The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to
destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more
abundantly.
XV. Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me all the days of my life -
That's Blessing!
Psa 24:5 KJV He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from
the God of his salvation.
XVI. And I will dwell in the
house of the Lord - That's Security!
John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never
perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is
able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
John 2:16 KJV And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make
not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would
have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
XVII. Forever - That's Eternity!
Isaiah 57:15 KJV For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth
eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also
that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and
to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
2 Corinthians 5:1 KJV For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were
dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in
the heavens.
Face it, the Lord is crazy about
you. What is most valuable, is not what we have in our lives, but WHOM we have
in our lives!
