ALL THINGS!
In the KJV Bible the word ALL appears to be used 5621 times in 4664
verses. It is a three-letter word but is used much in speech and even in
the Word of God. In this outline we list just a few of the references to
the word ALL as you can see it would be one of the world’s longest
sermons if we did. However, the few we list lay out a message for both
the believer and the now-believer.
Scripture reading:
(Heb 2:6 KJV) But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man,
that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?
2:7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him
with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
2:8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that
he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put
under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. 2:9 But we
see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering
of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God
should taste death for every man. 2:10 For it became him, for whom are
all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto
glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through
sufferings.
(Psa 8:4 KJV) What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of
man, that thou visitest him? 8:5 For thou hast made him a little lower
than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. 8:6 Thou
madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put
all things under his feet:
I. The Word tells us that All have sinned.
Romans 3:23 (KJV) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of
God;
A. There was only one who did not commit sin. It was Jesus.
: (Heb 4:15 KJV) For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched
with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like
as we are, yet without sin.
B. There is not one that is righteous.
(Rom 3:10 KJV) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one
II. God loves ALL people.
John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but
have everlasting life.
A. God loves all people the same.
Acts 10:34 (KJV) Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I
perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
III. With God ALL things are possible.
(Mark 10:27 KJV) And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is
impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible
A. If we believe this then ALL things are possible
(Mark 9:23 KJV) Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things
are possible to him that believeth.
IV. One day ALL will be raised from the death.
John 5:28 (KJV) Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which
all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come
forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they
that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
A. We want to be ready to meet Him whither we are alive or in the grave.
We will rise.
(1 Cor 15:51 KJV) Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep,
but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,
at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be
raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
V. Then we shall ALL be judged.
Romans 14:10 (KJV) But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou
set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment
seat of Christ.
Revelation 20:12 (KJV) And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before
God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is
the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which
were written in the books, according to their works.
VI. What a day that will be when we ALL bow down before Him and shout
Jesus Christ is Lord!
Philippians 2:10 (KJV) That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the
glory of God the Father.
What is so wonderful is that if we make Jesus Lord now that it will be a
great joy to do it on that day. ALL need to call on His Name, Repent of
our sins, Receive Him in our hearts and lives and Confess His as Lord. I
start each morning with saying and confessing; Jesus Christ is Lord of
my spirit, Lord of my mind and Lord of my body. I want to give no room
for the devil.
What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see.
