Yours or God's Will
- Luke 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this
cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
We can thank God with all that is within us that Jesus took the
cup and Will of God. If He did not, there would no salvation for
anyone.
Now it is up to us to accept
God's Salvation and open our hearts and receive Christ as our
own personal Saviour.
I like the following words of
C. S. Lewis.
There are
only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God,
"Thy will be done," and those to whom God says, in the end,
"Thy will be done." All that are in Hell, choose it. Without
that self-choice there could be no Hell. No soul that
seriously and constantly desires joy will ever miss it.
Those who seek find. Those who knock it is opened. - C.S.
Lewis
- 2 Peter 3:9. ...not
willing that any should perish, but that all should come to
repentance.
Today is the Day to repent
and call upon the Lord. It is God's Will, is it your will?
God bless you and
yours.
On behalf of this generation,
Your friends in the service of Christ,
Tony and Marge Abram
