THE BEST IS YET TO COME!
1John 3
1-3 KJV
Behold, what
manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should
be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not,
because it knew him not. 2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God,
and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that,
when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him
as he is.3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth
himself, even as he is pure.
I. God loves
us and because of that love we are called the Children of God.
II. The world
does not understand and sometimes hate us because it has never
tasted the love of God, They do not know Jesus,
III. The best
is yet to come.
A. Jesus is going to return someday soon.
B. We shall be like Him when we see Him.
1. Think of that. We shall have a of body like His
resurrected body.
2. Wow. No longer bound by the physical laws of this world or
nature. We will be like Him.
IV. We do we
do until then? We work to be more like Him in this life. Romans
12:1
