JAPAN 2014 UPDATE AND SPECIAL MESSAGE TO ALL SOUL WINNERS
Volume 51 No. 3

Before we begin the Japan Update Good News Report, I felt to share with you the following burden on our hearts. We are living in a very paced world and only what we do for Christ will really count when we see Him.

Of all we achieve in this life, we can not take with us when we leave this earth, only the souls we have helped to enter the Kingdom of God through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Did you know that we have not only been saved for ourselves but to help others be saved. We have been delivered and rescued to help others be rescued and delivered.

Nothing is closer to the heart of God than soul winning. We have been doing it for over 50 years to the Nations. We never tire of do so. Jesus came to earth to be a SOUL WINNER.

He said in Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

You do not have to be a preacher to win a lost soul; anyone that is willing to share their own testimony of how Jesus saved them, is preaching the Gospel.

- Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

If we keep souls as our main priority, we will never be out of the Will of God. Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

JAPAN REPORT: 2014, YEAR OF GREAT EXPECTATIONS!
Only a quarter of one percent of the population of Japan ever go to church and are considered Christians. Yet, during a recent poll, over 30 percent of the Japanese people polled, believe that Jesus Christ is God.

When we were in Japan on an earlier soul winning mission trip, there was another poll asked of the Japanese people, that if they would have to chose a God to worship who would it be? Just over 50% of the people said they would chose the Christian God and serve Jesus Christ. Think of that, over half of the people would serve Jesus.

What then does this mean? This tells me that there is much seed planted in the hearts of the Japanese people which has to be harvested for the Kingdom of God. I believe, for years, the Gospel has fallen on dry ground as seed in the desert planted by faithful missionaries and workers. Then as in the desert where the seed can lie for years, comes rain and overnight the desert can blossom.

Peter declared in Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

We have felt that we would have a part in the great harvest that is coming to Japan. Our ministry has been blessed over the years.

This year we want to make a special effort, keeping you informed so you can pray and believe with us. The back page is a report of a work that is growing in leaps and bounds in Okinawa. We believe it will happen everywhere soon in Japan. Lay your hands on this report and pray with us for this.

SHIROI-IE FELLOWSHIP CHURCH STORY
Some years ago, God called Yoshiko sensei to evangelize and build a work for the Glory of God in Okinawa. This dear sister faced many obstacles in Japan. She had a Beauty Shop that attracted the elite of Okinawa and in that shop she began to win souls.

She started a work in the basement and that is when we first came to minister with Aoki sensei and Yumiko sensei over ten years ago. Each time we came, there was growth. We ordained her to the work God called her to some years ago. We have held outreaches there starting in their basement. They were the ones that gave Marge and I a special 50th wedding celebration when we were with them. They consider Aoki sensei and Yumiko sensei and us to be their spiritual parents.

The photos on this page show some of the events that led up to the beautiful building that God has given them. We have had a small part in this outreach and pray for them daily. We will be ministering again there later this year. We believe that what has happened here will happen all over Japan. Many are coming to Christ is the great last day harvest.

Pray for us as we continue to take the Gospel to the peoples of the world. God bless you. May God send the harvest to Japan this year! We are praying for you and yours.
