Taiwan, Republic of China Ministry Report: Part 2
Volume L No. 5

In Part One of the Taiwan Ministry Report we began to tell how that in 1978, while driving from Seattle late at night, we were listening to a Missionary Gospel program on the car radio. They were stating the fact that one in four people in the world were Chinese.

When I heard that, something deep within me groaned. I cried out to the Lord, “Lord, are we going to win Chinese to You?”  I felt the Lord speak to my heart saying that He was preparing a harvest for us.

What occurred during the six weeks following this experience, was we found ourselves in Taiwan, Republic of China having a National Prime Time Television Crusade.

Tony prays for upwards of 200 in a single service.
The Bible tells us that He would do a quick work in the last days but the fulfillment was a miracle to us. It was the first time that the Full Gospel was preached on TV in Taiwan.

We also were on almost every radio station in the country, daily reaching even into Mainland China both in the Taiwanese and Mandarin languages.  Then in city after city in full auditoriums as we held crusades where hundreds of Chinese responded to the Gospel.  Souls were saved, bodies healed and delivered by the power of God.

Many signs and wonders as in Mark 16:20 (KJV) And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Since that time we have come to Taiwan many times with God giving us favor. This has been a launching pad to our ministry in Mainland China.

We do not divulge much about our ministry in Mainland China.  However, over the years, we have placed thousands of Bibles, supported cell groups and workers.  The reason we must be careful, is if we want to enter China for ministry not to be denied entry.

We have had wonderful ministry there.  However, we only have so much space to share here.  We want to write a little of the recent ministry of soul winning and healing we have experienced in the country of Taiwan. God moved by His Spirit. We know it is because of people like you who are praying for us.

It was good to work with John and Hyoncha Clark, our representatives and Associate Evangelists. They reported what a blessing our book ‘Keys of the Kingdom’ has been that we printed last year in Chinese.

This book has been printed in a number of languages.  More than 50,000 alone were printed in the Russian language. Many have been saved, healed and had their needs met through reading the books.

John Clark has written 6 books himself in Chinese and they are a blessing.  God moved in every crusade and service.

When we began to minister, the Holy Spirit fell upon these precious Chinese people.  We believe Taiwan is still a key to continue to evangelize the huge country of Mainland China.  Please pray for this wonderful harvest, that God would not only cause them to grow spiritually but also that He would raise up soul winners among them.

As I have written before, we do not call ourselves apostles but it does fall upon us in different mission fields to fulfill the ministry of an apostle.

We have had the honor of having baptismal and ordination services. In some services we would lay hands on over two hundred Chinese people. It was wonderful to see lives changed and people healed by the power of God.  John and Hyoncha helped us with this ministry.

Over the years, as missionary evangelists we have gone to country after country to reap souls for Christ.  In many cases we reap where we did not sow.

John 4:37-38 (KJV) 37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. 38 I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.

It has been a joy over the years working with National Workers, leaders and missionaries such as John and Hyoncha Clark.  These are the ones that have labored and planted the seed.

God has used Marge and I to go to country after country to reap the harvest. We rejoice with those who have labored before us.  I have thought that our ministry is likened unto those workers that follow the harvest with their large combines bringing in the harvest where the farmers have worked and planted the seed.

This is why the Word tells us in 2 Corinthians 6:1 (KJV) "We then, as workers together with him" - we rejoice together over the harvest God Gives.

Not everyone can be on the front lines of evangelism. However, we all have a part.  People who pray, stand in faith and give, do the website :-) and make up the supply lines to the ministries.  If there were not a supply line then no army or war could be won.

We thank all of you that pray and stand in faith with the ministry God has given us for being on the supply line. You help make our ministry possible to the nations.

We want you to know that we pray daily for God’s blessing upon you and yours. Keep praying for us daily.

God bless you and yours.

Your Missionary Evangelists,

Tony and Marge Abram.
