Abundant Life Crusades
Tony and Marge Abram have been sharing God's Good News for over 64 years!

Update on some of our Outreaches to the Nations!
Volume L No. 3

We are sending this report to you as our yearly update because we believe that you are one of the special friends of the ministry God has given us, to pray and stand with us in our calling to World Evangelism.

Some of our friends are aging as we are and have been praying and standing in faith for almost the whole of the 50 years we have gone to the Nations.

More recently, God has added some new ones to partner with us, to pray and stand in faith in this ministry He has called us to.

I am reminded of the parable that Jesus gave in Matthew the 20th chapter.  Some started working early and some later but at the end of the day, all shared in the same reward. What we do is not for ourselves but for the Lord and on that GREAT DAY we will share together.

My only desire is to hear Him say, “Well done.” If we desired anything else, it is only that we might see a great multitude of people we helped come to Christ from all over the world. Marge and I have been privileged to have given of ourselves to the wonderful ministry of World Evangelism.

We want to thank you for your prayers and support. Without you we would not been able to take the Gospel into over 100 countries with the message of Christ. WE FIRST ARE DEPENDANT ON THE LORD AND THEN SECONDLY, ON GOD’S WONDERFUL PEOPLE.

We are one in Christ. We are on the same TEAM and we can not lose for winning.  We can not go under for going over.  Marge and I have always tried to be good stewards of the ministry God has given us.  We have not built any earthly kingdom but have always tried to build for the Kingdom of God.

Tony & Marge 1960’s, 1970’s and 1980’s.

Please pray for us, that we will ever continue to be good stewards of God and His finances. Be assured, as God’s people plant into our ministry, we pledge to do our very best. Remember that your prayers are the most important investment to our ministry. We want to keep going as long as the Lord gives us life and strength to do so in His Great Work of World Evangelism.

At this time we are still involved in many countries.

- In India we are supporting a Three year Bible college with ‘Focus Ministries.’ (Evangelist Harley Fiddler)

- In addition, we are supporting 10 full time workers and 13 orphans in India.

- In Ski Lanka, 13 full time workers. In East Africa, 11 full time workers.

- In Cuba we are supporting more than 35 full time workers through ‘People with a Vision’ (Associate Evangelist Anatolio Rysko).

- We also are helping support workers in 9 Latin American countries.

- We support workers and ministries in China and in Japan, Taiwan, Russia and Ukraine.

- In addition to these, we have been able, by the Grace of God, to purchase over 180 buildings for churches since the wall of communism fell in the USSR. This is not counting what we have helped build in Latin America, Africa and India.

There are many other projects we are involved in addition to our personal ministry of teaching, preaching and writing. Our books have been translated in a number of Languages. Just think, through all these ministries, many thousands are being reached with the Gospel.

We give God all the honor and glory!

We know that He is the One who does it all and He uses people like you to make this possible. On that Day when we stand before Him. the report will not be just from Tony and Marge Abram. It will be from us all as God has called us to be workers together with Him.

This year by the Grace of God, we trust to purchase more buildings for churches, support not less but more workers on the field and continue with our teaching and preaching ministry.  When you receive this report, Marge and I should be in Taiwan for ministry.  Though we receive call from many nations to come we can not go to all. However, this year we are planning ministry, God willing, in Europe, North and South America, Africa and Asia.

Pray that not only God will supply the financial costs but also that He will give us the strength and even a greater vision and anointing of the Holy Spirit.

This is one of our prayers:
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Psalm 103:5 (KJV)

We want to share this touching story in closing.

The Missionary's Return:

This is the story of Henry Morrison's return to the states after several decades of missionary work in Africa. After forty years of faithful service to the Lord as a missionary to Africa, Henry Morrison and his wife were returning to New York.  As the ship neared the dock, Henry said to his wife, "Look at that crowd.  They haven't forgotten about us".

However, unknown to Henry, the ship also carried President Teddy Roosevelt, returning from a big game hunting trip in Africa.  Roosevelt stepped from the boat, with great fanfare, as people  were cheering, flags were waving,  bands were playing, and reporters waiting for his comment, Henry and his wife slowly walked away unnoticed.  They hailed a cab, which took them to the one bedroom apartment which had been provided by the mission board.

Over the next few weeks, Henry tried, but failed to put the incident behind him.  He was sinking deeper into depression when one evening, he said to his wife, "This is all wrong.  This man comes back from a hunting trip and everybody throws a big party.  We give our lives in faithful service to God for all these many years, but no one seems to care."

His wife cautioned him that he should not feel this way.  Henry replied "I know you're right, but I just can't help it.  It just isn't right." His wife then said, "Henry, you know God doesn't mind if we honestly question Him.  You need to tell this to the Lord and get this settled now.  You'll be useless in His ministry until you do."

Henry Morrison then went to his bedroom, got down on his knees and, shades of Habakkuk, began pouring out his heart to the Lord.  "Lord, you know our situation and what's troubling me.  We gladly served you faithfully for years without complaining.  But now God, I just can't get this incident out of my mind..."

After about ten minutes of fervent prayer, Henry returned to the living room with a peaceful look on his face.  His wife said "It looks like you've resolved the matter.  What happened?"

Henry replied, "The Lord settled it for me.  I told Him how bitter I was that the President received this tremendous homecoming, but no one even met us as we returned home.  When I finished, it seemed as though the Lord put His hand on my shoulder and simply said, 'But Henry, you are not home yet!'"

Comment:  I have to believe that when Henry Morrison finally went home, the celebration dwarfed the welcoming received by Teddy Roosevelt on the docks.  I can just image thousands upon thousands of Africans, whom he had reached for Christ, standing at the Gates of Heaven, applauding and welcoming Henry home.

WHAT A DAY THAT WILL BE WHEN WE SEE JESUS!

God bless you and yours.
On behalf of the last day harvest,
Tony and Marge Abram.
