THREE PROPHECIES BEING FULFILLED IN THESE LAST DAYS
AND YEARS OF OUR MINISTRY!
Volume XXXXIX No. 3

Acts 2:17 (KJV) And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Over the years there have been many words of exhortation given to Marge and I concerning our ministry and us. However, there are three prophecies given that we see being fulfilled.

A dear late minister friend, Pastor Calverly, of Bristol, England who had a very strong prophetic ministry, gave the first prophecy.  He prophesied in the mid 1970’s that we would have so many funds one day that we would not know what to do with them.

The second prophecy was given in November of 1987 by Pastor Tony Maggos of Illinois (who recently went to his eternal home) at our 25th Wedding Celebration in Richmond, Indiana, that though we would still be conducting crusades and winning souls, our ministry was going to change and that more and more we would be making disciples and winning soul winners for the Kingdom of God.

The third prophecy given was by a late dear friend and minister, Pastor Lipton, of Dover, England in the 1980’s. It was at during a conference that he prophesied that we would win a BILLION souls to Christ through our ministry. Wow!

Looking at the first prophecy, we are continually trying to be good stewards of all that God places in our hands. We are supporting nearly 100 national ministers and soul winners around the world. We have, over the years, been training thousands of workers through training schools, seminars, conferences and schools of ministry.

We have purchased over 200 buildings around the world for local churches and have built many churches in different parts of the world. Truly God has supplied the needs for these! We believe the barrel of God’s meal and oil does not run dry. As we give, He keeps giving it back. 1 Kings 17:16 (KJV) And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.

Pray that Marge and I may always be good stewards of all He entrusts to us through His people. The Lord spoke to my heart a few years ago that in our latter ministry we would be ‘Dispensers of His Finances.’

The second prophecy has come to pass. Even though we still win souls through evangelism we now have training schools, seminars, conferences and schools of ministry and we have trained thousands with what we have learned and received in the ministry of soul winning. They in turn are taking the gospel to the world.

The third prophecy was one I wanted to believe but had a difficult time to really see how this could be that we would reach one billion (a thousand million). Luke 18:27 (KJV) And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. I was recently praying about this and believe God showed me the answer. The prophecy said that we would reach one billion souls through our ministry. Yes, we have led many thousands to Christ over the past 50 years that we cannot count them.

However, it is nowhere near ‘One Billion.’ So the answer came to me that it is fulfilled though all the ministries we have trained and supported over the years, even among some of the orphans we have supported. I pray daily for all the souls we have won and taught the Word of God to that God would raise up the five-fold ministry through them. Ephesians 4:11 (KJV) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; I believe God is raising up soul winners. When we win a soul winner, we move from adding souls to the multiplication of souls.

You may have noticed that we ask and even emphasize that you pray for us and the ministry God has given us. The reason, we believe, is that God’s people carry us with their prayers and faith. One example is the man sick of the palsy, who was only able to get to Jesus when his four friends carried him to the roof of the house. Another example is Moses, when he held up his hands and they grew tired, others came and held up his arms so the battle could be won.

Exodus 17:11-12 (KJV) 11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. 12 But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

Your prayers are types of Aaron and Hur who held up the arms of Moses. We are not Moses but are some of God’s servants and as you pray and stand in faith, you are helping to win the battle for the Lord. Remember that we give God all the HONOR AND GLORY for all He has done, is doing and will yet do! We must decrease and He must increase.
