ARMENIA MINISTRY AND TRAINING SCHOOL REPORT: PART
I! Volume XXXXVIII No. 11 In this month’s ‘Good News’ report, we are praising God for the wonderful ministry in Armenia God gave Marge and me. It was a wonderful Bible Training School, wonderful students and wonderful outreach ministry and services. However before we give the report, let us tell a little of "Who are they"? One of the world's oldest civilizations, Armenia once included Mount Ararat which the Bible identifies as the mountain Noah's Ark rested on after the flood. They have a saying that everyone in the world is Armenian because we all descended from Noah and his family. When they left the Ark, they came down to Armenia. It was the first country in the world to officially embrace Christianity as it’s religion (A.D. 301). |

The Armenians belong to the
Caucasian race. According to legend, a man by the name of Haik,
during the building of the Tower of Babel (where men banded
together to build the tower so that they could reach heaven)
collected a group of good and moral men, like himself, and
marched north to the land of Armenia, settling there.
Christianity began to spread in Armenia soon after the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, due to the efforts of two of his apostles, Thaddeus and Bartholomew. The city of Yerevan is 2794 years old. |

The school in Yerevan,
Armenia has about 60 students. However, we had about 100
students as there were students from previous classes. They had
never heard to hear us teach the Word of God. Nellie, a
young woman who had gone through one of the earlier schools, is
now working with ‘Campus Crusade.’
She was to go to the country of Jordon to represent Armenia in a conference the same time we were to teach and minister in Armenia. She said she prayed that we would change our schedule and come a week later as she wanted so badly to hear us teach. She said she had heard so much about us and our teaching. Then at the last moment the conference in Jordan was canceled. She was so very glad. Even as much as we loved teaching the Word to these precious future ministers, I love to see the wonderful response to the Gospel in our outreach services, the many pressing forward to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour, Lord and Master. We still are thrilled every time we lead souls to the Living Christ! The Bible tells us that there is great joy in heaven over a sinner that repents. Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. (Luke 10:15) |

The pastors were thrilled
seeing new people coming to the meeting and being saved. As we
look at the photos of the school and ministry, we give God all
the Glory, Honor and Praise for what He has done! The photo left
of this young man with his hand on his heart repenting and
opening his life to the Lord just thrills our hearts and fuels
us to keep going and preaching, taking the Gospel to the
Nations.
When we win souls, it give us joy and that joy gives us strength. Nehemiah 8:10 (KJV) :……. for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength. Please pray for the workers we taught, that God will use all of them and that they will all be soul winners.
You may note above, there is a photo of a small building and a large piece of ground in the center of the city. It is owned by the churches. They want to build a Bible School on this ground. We have pledged $5,500.00 toward it when they get started. Where will it come from? Our Father in heaven owns the cattle on a thousand hills. If He wants to, He is able to sell a cow or two. Praise the Lord! For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. (Psalms 50:10) |

Our two interpreters, Edward
and Jasmine did a wonderful job. Pastor Arto and his father
Pastor Noda were kind hosts. Arto is the Director of the
school, working with Walter Zygarewicz coordinating the teachers
and schedule of the school.
Next month we continue with Armenia Part II Report in our ‘Good News.’ Pray for us. We are praying or you and yours. God bless you.
