Good News for April 2016

Dear Precious Prayer Partner,

Once again, we are nearing the time of year when we celebrate that great and powerful event the Resurrection of Jesus Christ! (Easter!)

Let the Alleluias be sung as we celebrate the great event of the Resurrection of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. It there is anything that sets Christianity apart from the religions of the world, it is the Resurrection.

HE IS NOT THE GREAT “I WAS’
NOT THE GREAT “I AM GOING TO BE’
HE IS THE “GREAT I AM”
JESUS CHRIST THE SAME YESTERDAY,
TODAY AND FOREVER!
Hebrews 13:8
The Bible tells us that “the wages of sin is death”, Romans 3:23, and even though Jesus Christ died on the Cross, He was taking our penalty upon Him.  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 Death could not hold Him in the grave because it had not the right or authority to do so. The Church rejoices at the victory of Jesus over sin and death. We are invited to enter more fully into the life of grace that has been given to us through our Salvation.

Paul reminds us in, Romans 6:4-5 (KJV) 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

Marge and I have a stronger desire that ever before in our lives to win the lost to Christ.

Today is the day of Salvation and now is the accepted time. You are helping us with your prayers and faith by helping us support more than 120 soul winners around the world.

We want to renew our efforts to live the life Jesus has won for us through His Suffering and Death on the Cross.

Jesus asks to allow Him to live in us and through us in His resurrected be present to this broken and troubled world through us. Our Christian life gives witness that Christ is alive and at work in the world today. By living the Gospel values that the Lord teaches in all your actions, you and I can join our voices with those of His first disciples by acclaiming, “The Lord is risen! He is truly risen!”

May the resurrection power of Christ, awake in us a greater spiritual force and strength, so that we can passionately pursue our God-given dreams The tomb could hold Him no longer. Death is strong, but life is stronger. Stronger than the dark, the light. Stronger than the wrong, the right. Faith and hope, triumphant say, ‘Christ arose that Resurrection day!  

I think my favorite would have to be Mark 16:6. To me, this verse sums up the ultimate truth about this day, the cornerstone of my Christian faith: He is not here, He is risen, just as He said. (Mark 16:6).

Also the verse in 1 John 3:2  Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
