Directions from God for our daily living.

God has directions for all of our lives. He does not want you to wander around not knowing where you are going or what you are doing. This message is to help us see the path that God has laid out for us all. He has given us a map. It is His Word and His Word is His perfect Will for our lives. This message is also good to remind us at the ending of a year and the beginning of a New Year. God does not want us to walk about in darkness but to have the Light of Light in us. If we follow the directions that God has for us we will not stumble. Here are seven signposts with directions for us to walk the Walk of Faith.

I. Signpost and Direction #1. OUR ASSIGNMENT:
-Mark 16:15 KJV And he said unto them, Go ye into all the World, and preach the gospel to every creature.
A. God wants us to preach, which means tell, live and demonstrate the Gospel.
    1. The supreme task of the church is the evangelization of the world.
    2. We are to be happy and we are happy when we witness to others what God has done for us. Try it, it works.

II. Signpost and Direction #2. OUR RESPONSIBILITY:
-Ezek 33:8 KJV When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
A. It is our responsibility to warn people. We cannot say it is just for
the minister. Jesus gave the responsibility to the whole church.

III. Signpost and Direction #3. OUR INSTRUCTIONS:
-Mat 4:19 KJV And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
A. If we follow Him, He will show us how to be fishers of men.

IV. Signpost and Direction #4. OUR EQUIPMENT:
-Eph 6:16 KJV Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
-Eph 6:17 KJV And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
A. Complete armor except for the back.
   1. Romans 8:31, If God is for us….
   2. We cannot lose for winning.
   3. We cannot go under for going over.

V. Signpost and Direction #5. OUR SUCCESS:
-Isa 55:11 KJV So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
A. It is not we, it is Him, it is His Word. He said to preach the Word and He would confirm His Word.

VI. Signpost and Direction #6. OUR ACCOUNTABILITY:
-Rom 14:12 KJV So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
A. We answer to God. One day we will all stand before him.
B. I want to hear Him say, Well Done

VII. Signpost and Direction #7. OUR REWARD:
-Rev 22:12 KJV And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
A. I want to hear Him say, Well Done. I would like many crowns as I want to be able to lay them down at Jesus feet on that great day.
B. Here are some promises we can use so that we can hear what the Spirit of God is saying to us through His Word.
-Psa 119:11 KJV Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
-Psa 119:89 KJV For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
-Psa 119:105 KJV Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
